I got an ipod. Woo Hoo!!!!
I don't know how it works...am in big trouble. just keep clicking stuff and hoping for the best

As a (PRODUCT) RED partner, Apple will give a portion of my iPod nano purchase to the Global Fund to fight AIDS in Africa.
it's a pretty tiny portion compared to the approximately one million dollars I spent on the thing. but every little bit helps I suppose.

Take a Look at Me Now

I have a lot of goals in life (that goes along with being a list maker). One of them is to be one of those commentators on VH1 countdowns. I just watch the commentators they have and wonder why they're opinions are any better than mine. The answer...because for whatever reason they managed to be on TV. Gah! I want that to be me. I have no desire to be famous...I would want VH1 commentating fame to be my soul claim.

Until that moment, I'll remain obscure, and I'll continue to list the various ways I could achieve B list celebrity status so that I would have the honor of saying, publicly, that I was utterly bummed that Your Love didn't even MAKE the list of 100 greatest songs of the 80s.

Batik...or whatever

Tonight Buck came to visit with delightful insight into the artistic endeavor that is Batik. It basically consists of putting melted wax into a pattern on a cloth and painting around the wax. You then iron off the wax and are left with...a picture if you're really artistic. Which I'm not. Buck ended up with some mountains. Amanda a palm tree beach scene. Tara...is a fan of the abstract. And by abstract I mean swirling blue and pink paint onto a cloth, then slinging red paint all over screaming DIE!! DIE!!

My painting, however, is awesome. I can't lie.

First Post

So, I'm not much of a blogger. I'm a thinker (occasionally, and about dumb, random stuff), and I'm a list maker. I also happen to be pretty opinionated. I'm often accused of acting like my opinion is the only one that's valid. Although this is NOT the case, there are certain things I feel strongly about. Here are just a few:

-Bob Segar's version of Turn the Page is exponentially better than Metallica's.
-Stephanie from Full House is a psycho b-word.
-The only time the Beatles were better than the Stones is when they were on drugs.
-Conversate is NOT a word!
-Had Buddy Holly lived, I really believe the British invasion would have never happened.
-Chihuahuas named Frank are evil approximately 60% of the time.
-Diet Rockstar is the greatest energy drink there is.

Okay. Done.
